What is ESD Earth Bonding Plug?

ESD Earth Bonding Plugs, which offer a simple and easy method of grounding.

These plugs are specifically designed for connecting ESD wrist wraps and Earth leads to mains Earth.

We provide the option of purchasing either UK or EU or USA or Australian plug sockets for a variety of our Earth Bonding Plugs.

The Earth pin is made of metal, ensuring guaranteed safety, while the neutral and mains voltage pins are made of plastic.

Our Earth Bonding Plugs are designed to be used with our range of ESD grounding cords. For a versatile solution, we recommend using our universal grounding cord.

Each plug is manufactured with high build quality and is available in yellow as standard. This color choice allows for easy identification and ensures that the plug is clearly visible as the grounding point

The benefits of using Earth bonding plugs:

These plugs offer a simple method of grounding and provide a common ground point using protective Earth.

They are widely used and can be easily inserted into any mains supply socket within the EPA.

In our ESD workbenches, it is always beneficial to have an Earth bonding plug nearby, as many operators work there.

The plugs come with various types of connector points on the front.

Depending on your requirements, it is essential to choose the appropriate type of connectors.

For instance, if your operators routinely work with different types of ESD protective equipment, Earth bonding plugs with 10mm studs, M5 posts, and banana sockets might be the suitable choice.

Most bonding plugs typically come with a 1 meg-ohm resistor as standard. However, it's important to note that some plugs may have a higher value resistor or no resistor at all. Therefore, before selecting an Earth bonding plug, it is crucial to check the type of connectors and resistance values that meet your specific needs.
